DAK meets with Hon’ble Finance Minister | KNO

Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) President Dr Suhail Naik along with Dr Owais H Dar, Dr Mohd Ashraf Shah, Dr Mirzada Bilal and Dr Imtiyaz met with Hon’ble Finance Minister Mr Haseeb Drabu at Civil Secretariat, Jammu. The DAK delegation apprised him about pay anomaly and various discrepancies pertaining to salary issues of Medical officers, Dental Surgeons and Consultants. The delegation also briefed him about the continuous risks and hazards the doctors are exposed and demanded for enhancement of special duty allowance/risk allowance. The delegation also informed him about the career stagnation/caderisation. The Hon’ble Minister gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation that their genuine demands will be addressed on priority. “Doctors are professionals and are cream of society and it is our moral responsibility to raise their morale in the society”, the Hon’ble Minister said. DAK hopes that their genuine demands will be addressed on priority and in a time bound manner.
